Diapason - Light made orientable
Thanks to the gyroscopic principle the Diapason can be positioned easily in any direction to highlight your architectural details. The Diapason is equipped with a revolving stop to lock the fitting in any position. The range of Diapason spotlights is now increased by a number of metal halide lightsources. Thus, Diapason allows you to explore a further area of applications. Depending on the light source the luminaires are supplied with different reflectors which can be easily removed. The reflector clips into the housing after installation and connection of the luminaire. There are a variety of light sculpting accessories including dichroic filters, lenses and louvres. The fitting has a silvergrey, black or white wet paint finish for indoor and a black wet paint finish for outdoor applications. The Diapason is available with an M10 nipple for direct mounting or for your own creative implementations, and with a multi-adaptor for use on track-systems.
This fitting is the basic element of the Diapason series and developed for QT12-ax, QR-LP111 and HIT-TC-CE. If required, this fitting is equipped with a cooling profile which ensures a sufficient heat dissipation of the light source. The reflector that is required for QT12-ax and HIT-TC-CE can be easily installed and allows the lighting designer to choose between different beam angles. Furthermore, the light beam can be modelled by using various accessories.
Diapason Cover is designed for QR-LP111, PL-R eco, HIT-TC or HIPAR111 lamps. The back of the fitting is covered so that no light escapes. Together with the glare preventor that is supplied standard, this fitting ensures the lighting designer the use of an almost invisible tool. The light beam of the QR-LP111 can be altered by using various accessories like dichroic filters, sculpture lens, etc.
Diapason Hidden uses QPAR30 or HIPAR-L30 lamps. The socket of the lamp is hidden in a cylindrical sleeve.
Diapason Saver can be used for different lamp sources and combines the grace of the Diapason with low energy qualities. This fitting comes with a large glare preventor as standard.
Small Diapason is designed for QR-CBC51, CDM-Tr51, QPAR16 or HIPAR20 lamps. If required, the fitting is equipped with a cooling profile which ensures a sufficient heat dissipation of the light source. The lightbeam of the QR-CBC51 can be altered by using various accessories. The Small Diapason with halogen metal vapour lamps are standard equipped with an anti glare preventor to restrict the glare, which results in optimum visual comfort. Diapason Twister with QPAR16 high voltage halogen lamp is a usable and economical instrument for highlighting in smaller applications.
Diapason Softline uses light which is soft and easy on the eye for all types of application. The cylinder, made of high quality acrylic, acts as a diffuser. The neutral tone of the cylinder and the silver grey of the fitting can be easily combined with other interior furnishings.
Diapason Outdoor is suitable for outdoor use and has the same functional abilities as the other Diapason spotlights. The luminaires use QPAR30 illuminants and are equipped with a glare preventor. The Diapason Outdoor can be easily mounted on walls and ceilings or used as an almost portable spotlight with groundspike.
Totem Outdoor is suitable for outdoor use and groups four Diapasons Outdoor. Totem outdoor is only available as free standing fixture. The lightsources are limited to QPAR30 and are always equipped with a glare preventor. The basic unit is a black anodised aluminium profile.

Thus, creating one functional unit with two illumination types: direct luminaires for highlighting and indirect luminaires for either subtle mood changes or general lighting.
